It goes against every ounce of my moral being to note down that I like a football shirts manufactured by Kappa, but these Sampdoria football shirts are just fantastic.

OK, so the Captain America colour scheme is going to be a case of love it or hate but for me personally, it just works.

The Sampdoria football shirts have a very unique design and colour scheme which immediately makes them recognisable. This means that they don’t have to go to great efforts to make them stand out in a crowd.

However, Kappa could have easily gone over the top with the design and made a real mess but they didn’t so credit to them.

The away shirt is identical in everything but the colour scheme (obviously), but I can’t lie, I’d happily buy them both!

They’re never going to be everyone’s cup of tea but in my opinion, if you buy one italian football shirt this year, make it a Sampdoria one. They encompass everything about the tradition and culture of the great footballing nation.
