Adidas have gone back to basics with the latest Real Madrid football shirts for the 2008/09 season and they've done a really nice job.
Gone are the bold purple splashes from last season's shirt and have been replaced by the traditional black and white design. The stripes across the shoulders work particularly well with this shirt and the fold down collar is both smart and comfortable.
Even the sponsorship logo has been smartened up to a plain black design and the only colour is on the Real Madrid badge on the chest.
