Newcastle have not had it all their own way this season, and right now are clinging to every hope that they are going to still have a Premiership staus next season. One thing they will have will be a great looking shirt to play in.

World Football Shirts Review: The black and white stripes have been given a retro feel and I have to say it is very crisp and sharpe. The only major change from the old shirt is that the collar has been replaced for a tight rounded neck line.

Shirt Information: The home shirt is going to be available for 2009/10, the shirts are manufactured by Adidas.

Comparison Rating: I rate this shirt highly and think it is a vast improvement on last seasons. I have never really been a fan of the collar and think that the rounded neck works very well indeed.

The club badge is still in the centre of the chest which I don't like all that much as I feel badges should always be on the left side. That said Adidas have produced a winning design, and continue to be a leading manufacturer in world football.
