Plain and simple are two words that spring to mind when thinking about these Metz football shirts, so I’ll keep this review just that.

I like the simplicity of the shirt in one way and unlike a lot of the other tops from the French leagues it hasn’t got an awful colour scheme to work with, so there’s two pluses right away.

I don’t like the collar which is too full on and all you can really focus on when looking at the shirt. I also don’t like the fact it’s made by Kappa - my least favourite of all the sports manufacturers. I don’t know why, there’s just something about the brand.
