World Football Shirts

Holland football shirts always make me think about those iconic players that have pulled on the famous orange top. Players like Cruyff, Gullit and Bergkamp who had such skill and poise on the ball.

Unfortunately the latest Holland football shirts are more total crap than total football. The home shirt is very orange and pretty simple in its design. Unfortunately, it is let down horribly by a massive collar that makes anyone who wears it look like they haven't got a neck. I feel particularly sorry for Arjen Robben who actually doesn't have a neck anyway so you can imagine how silly he looks.

I'm not quite as sickened by the Holland away football shirt but I don't like the shade of blue they've chosen at all. The whole thing looks like it would be more at home on a baseball field than a football pitch. It's not the worst shirt in the world but I just wouldn't particularly want to buy it myself.

All Holland football shirts are currently manufactured by Nike and I would have expected better from the masters.
