There’s some nice touches to the latest Catania football shirts, but there’s also some things that I really don’t like. Allow me to lay these facts out in front of you so you can make your own informed judgement.

I like the bold stripes and the fact they don’t go all the way to the top, instead opting for a block of blue. This immediately stops the shirt looking like wallpaper! I also like the piping which works nicely to neaten things up.

I don’t appreciate the collar though and the material has a plastic-like quality which gives the shirt a rigid effect, and I hate shirts like that. Barcelona had one a few seasons back and I paid fifty quid for it, before realising I actually didn’t care for it at all. It’s like playing in a straight jacket!
